Greg Hitchcock
Greg Hitchcock has over 16 years of experience in the field of Journalism. He has a strong interest in nature and the outdoors, especially the Adirondack Park.

Only the Adirondacks was launched by veteran journalist Greg Hitchcock to inform, educate, and entertain the public on the Adirondack Park.

Greg’s articles have been published by the Houston Chronicle, San Diego Union Tribune, and Los Angeles Times, among other news organizations.

His work in film is exceptional. Greg worked closely with the United Nations and Full Sail University in producing a short documentary about climate change in the Adirondacks. He also filmed a documentary on the Rice Homestead for the Mayfield Historical Society, among other film projects.

A lifelong volunteer, he has given his talents to advocating for the rights of the mentally ill and promoting research into diseases of the brain through volunteering at the Mental Health Association in New York State, NAMI NYS, and local mental health chapters.

Greg Hitchcock is a U.S. Army veteran earning an honorable discharge in 1987. He is a graduate of the University at Albany, State University of New York.
